Trubaev Maksim Viktorovich

Trubaev Maksim Viktorovich, who betrayed Ukraine and became a collaborator, was born in Kherson. Before February 24, 2022, he worked in the Dnipro District Department of the Kherson State University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Kherson region.

With the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by Russian forces, Maksim actively supported the occupying forces and the temporary authorities established in the Kherson region.

In his role as a collaborator, he facilitated the activities of the occupiers, openly supporting the Russian occupation of Ukraine. Using his connections within the local police, he was involved in recruiting Ukrainian citizens to participate in anti-Ukrainian actions and sabotage within the country. Later, Trubaev became part of the occupational police force in Kherson, taking the position of “Chief of the Criminal Investigation Department.”

After some time, he moved to a new position within the occupation structures, becoming the head of the Labor and Social Policy Department of the Kherson City District.
