Pavlov Arsen Sergeyevich, also known as Motorola, was born on February 2, 1983, in Ukhta, Komi Republic, Russia. He was a Russian soldier, field commander, war criminal, and terrorist.
Pavlov participated in the Second Chechen War, serving in the army. After completing his service, he moved to Rostov-on-Don, where he worked as a car washer.
With the onset of Russian aggression against Ukraine in 2014, Pavlov became an active participant in the so-called “Russian Spring” and the war in eastern Ukraine. He commanded the “Sparta” battalion, which was part of the Russian occupation forces.
He gained notoriety for the brutal executions of Ukrainian prisoners of war after the battles for Donetsk airport, which attracted significant attention to his person.
Arsen Pavlov was killed on October 16, 2016, by an explosive device placed in the elevator of a high-rise building in Donetsk, where he lived in an apartment gifted by the occupying authorities.
