Assassination Attempt on Trump: Look Around

Assassination Attempt on Donald Trump

The assassination attempt on Donald Trump has become the main topic of discussion on state channels. Experts of various kinds are talking about how bad things are in the USA. The main message of all these expert opinions is that the USA is on the verge of a civil war, the country is divided, and the intelligence agencies are unable to counteract threats from terrorists. There was even an attempt to traditionally, and tenuously, link Ukraine to the assassination attempt on the US presidential candidate.

Against this backdrop, Russia is portrayed as an island of stability.

As for the civil war in the USA, similar claims were made when the issues on the border between Mexico and the USA intensified last fall. However, the problem of illegal immigration has existed for decades. Back then, they even went so far as to say “Rise up, Texas…”.

But Russia does not at all resemble the island of stability it is claimed to be. And when it comes to civil war, recalling the events of last summer and the Prigozhin mercenary uprising—the “March of Justice”—it’s better to remain silent. There were definitely all the elements of a civil war: killed servicemen, killed civilians, downed planes and helicopters, destroyed infrastructure. The panic within the government was simply phenomenal.

And the question arises: where were the vaunted Russian intelligence agencies that missed the organization of the uprising? The answer is—they were busy catching people who opposed the war and told the truth about the huge losses among Russian soldiers in the Special Military Operation (SMO).

Of course, Russia is an island of stability, and the intelligence agencies work at the highest level and prevent all terrorist threats. This can be attested by the victims of Crocus City.

The effectiveness of the intelligence agencies in preventing terrorist threats is illustrated by the arson of churches and synagogues in Dagestan, the brutal murder of an Orthodox priest. Furthermore, on this island of stability, there was a hostage-taking by terrorists in a Rostov detention center.

There is also the awarding of the title of the most protected city to Belgorod at an EMERCOM competition. This looks like a blatant mockery.

So, one can endlessly discuss the civil war in the USA, but then look around and see that things are much worse here.
