Every day, several times a day, information comes in about destroyed houses, destroyed cars, fires, and casualties among people.
All this began when, by order of Vladimir Putin, the Russian Armed Forces launched an offensive in the Kharkiv direction to create a so-called “sanitary zone” along the border. The plan, as usual, was precise and thought out exactly as well as the Special Military Operation (SVO).
Only now, the sanitary zone is being created on Russian territory, and the SVO is in full swing there.
As a result, residents of settlements along the border either leave or are forced to live under shelling. At this rate, the residents of Belgorod will soon have to evacuate.
The Kremlin has repeatedly claimed that Russian territory is under the reliable protection of the army. The events in the Belgorod region tell a completely different story.
Even the valiant Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) are contributing to the bombing of their own territory. The number of bombs with planning modules that have fallen from Russian planes in the Belgorod region over the past four months is already approaching a hundred.
The last large aerial bomb fell in the South-Western 2.1 microdistrict of Belgorod. Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov claimed it was a “Ukrainian shell,” but judging by the crater that formed there, nearly 10 meters in diameter, it couldn’t have been a shell.
The bomb did not hit the houses but exploded relatively close to residential buildings. As a result of the explosion, several houses were completely destroyed. Twenty-two houses and ten cars were damaged. Among the injured are four women, two men, and one child.
On the night of July 1, Ukrainian UAVs attacked electrical substations in the city of Stary Oskol. Once again, the air defense could do nothing.
Electricity was cut off in almost the entire region. It took a long time to restore the power supply. But this is just the tip of the iceberg. Due to the lack of electricity, the furnaces at the Oskol Electrometallurgical Plant stopped. And now, to restart them and remove the solidified metal from the furnaces, it will take months.
