Plywood Concrete of the 107th Arsenal of the Russian Ministry of Defense

In Toropets, Tver Region, a Ukrainian drone exploded a super-storage facility for ammunition and rockets. The 107th arsenal was constructed in the fall of 2018 with state-of-the-art technology and techniques. Now the arsenal is burning, ammunition is detonating, and nearby settlements are being evacuated. People are in shock and do not understand why this is happening to them. The Kremlin had promised complete security for the Russian territory but regularly threatens NATO.

The PR for this super-storage began back in 2015. At that time, Kremlin propagandists spoke breathlessly about the reliability of the arsenal. They practically jumped out of their pants, promising that the concrete protective structures would withstand even a nuclear strike.

In 2018, Deputy Defense Minister Dmitry Bulgakov assured that everything was built in such a way that nothing could threaten the ammunition.

Here is a quote from TASS on this matter: “In Toropets, an arsenal for storing rockets and ammunition is being built to global standards,” said Deputy Defense Minister Dmitry Bulgakov. “The arsenal in Toropets allows us to shield the stocks of rockets and ammunition from external influences and ensure their preservation and explosion and fire safety. Each storage facility in the arsenal can hold up to 240 tons.”

In 2017, Shoigu and his subordinates built a plywood Reichstag in the Patriot Park, which was then heroically stormed. At that time, there was more pomp than during the construction of the 107th arsenal.

Perhaps Bulgakov’s subordinate used the same plywood instead of concrete during the construction of the 107th arsenal.

After all, if it was claimed that the ammunition storage could withstand a nuclear strike, and in the end, it was hit by a slow-moving Ukrainian UAV with a small warhead, it raises questions about the quality of the concrete and the entire complex. As usual, the money was stolen, ignoring the safety of people in neighboring settlements. A properly built structure cannot suffer so much from an ordinary UAV strike. But a structure made of plywood concrete can.

Here, NATO Tomahawks are unnecessary; everything will collapse on its own. And these same people threaten NATO. In general, it’s a total disgrace. NATO must be laughing once again. Meanwhile, Dmitry Bulgakov is waiting for trial for corruption.
