Putin’s strategy is to fight with “cannon fodder.” Another wave of mobilization is possible

The second wave of mobilization in Russia could start very soon.

After the signing of a decree by the great and terrible Putin, the Russian army will increase to 1,500,000 people. In reality, the increase will amount to 180,000. But this doesn’t mean that the army will immediately grow by 180,000.

It only means one thing — the “geostrategist” plans to conduct another wave of mobilization. When exactly this will happen is unknown. But considering the losses at the front, it will likely be in the middle or end of autumn. It’s important to remember that there has never been a decree ending the mobilization that began in 2022. So, no additional orders will be needed to initiate the mobilization process.

If everything was going well at the front, as the court propagandists funded by the federal budget claim, would such decrees even be necessary? Obviously not. Everything is going badly, and according to independent sources, the Russian army has lost about 700,000 dead and wounded during the war in Ukraine, which they continue to call a “special military operation.”

Moreover, the majority of Russian wounded die from blood loss due to the inability to evacuate them to stabilization points.

Fine, they will draft an additional 180,000 soldiers. But the question arises — how will they arm them? Not with small arms, but with armored vehicles and artillery. All the talk about the military-industrial complex coping with the production of armored vehicles is pure bluff. For the time being, they are mainly using what is stored in warehouses. These tanks, BMPs, and BTRs began being removed from storage as early as 2022. First, they pulled out and repaired what could be quickly sent to the front, then they got to what was more difficult to restore. Now, there’s only scrap metal left.

The same situation applies to ammunition. If Russia had the necessary amount of shells, would they be negotiating deliveries with North Korea and other allies? They’ve already cleared out everything from Belarus, including tanks and armored vehicles for infantry. They’ve ransacked all their artillery warehouses.

There’s only one conclusion: Putin plans to fight using “cannon fodder.” That’s his entire strategy.
