The Mooing of Propagandists

There is disarray and confusion among propagandists, which might be better described as the bleating of goats with signs of panic. The likelihood that the U.S. will transfer long-range JASSM cruise missiles to Ukraine is very high. These are air-launched missiles, quite similar in their characteristics to the British-French Storm Shadow/SCALP missiles, but with a greater range and high precision. The AGM-158 JASSM strikes targets in any weather conditions, at any time of day, from distances outside the reach of enemy air defense systems.

Now, propagandists are forced to calculate which airfields and military bases fall within the range of these missiles, and this causes them gloom. The AGM-158 JASSM is produced in two versions based on range: 370 km and 980 km. Most likely, the U.S. will provide the version with a range of 370 km, but even that will be enough to hit airbases used in the war against Ukraine.

Normal people, which obviously do not include Russian propagandists, would be asking questions about air defense systems capable of countering these missiles. But instead, on the main channel “Pervy”, they are discussing something entirely different—how to respond to the missile threat from the U.S. Allegedly, the U.S. is planning to strike Russia.

Moreover, the discussion takes on a completely irrational tone, suggesting not the defense of their own territory but rather sending Russian missiles to places like Venezuela or Cuba to “threaten the Swede from there.” And they plan to send air defense systems to protect Russian missile complexes in those locations.

A reasonable person would ask—are all our sites and cities protected by air defense, do we have enough systems? But no, the host pompously asks—”Is this a second Cuban Missile Crisis?” And the answer comes: otherwise, the U.S. supposedly won’t understand. They plan to inform the U.S. about the deployment of missiles in Latin America only after they are already there.

It seems that the people working and broadcasting on propaganda channels do not realize that satellite reconnaissance exists. Nevertheless, to boost the militant spirit of the population, they propose such an idiotic scenario and claim that it’s already being implemented, though it’s supposedly a secret.
