The Russian Army is suffering record losses since the start of the Special Military Operation

The Russian Army is suffering record losses since the start of the Special Military Operation.

What is happening at the front right now can be summed up with a phrase from a song: “We will pay any price.” This is precisely how the capture of ruins in the settlements of Donbas is being carried out, where the Russian army is taking the most significant losses.

The UK Ministry of Defense reports that the Russian army is currently losing over 1,000 people per day, either wounded or killed.

For comparison, in 2022, the Russian army lost between 230 and 540 people daily, and in 2023, the number rose to between 750 and 970.

It turns out that the spiral of losses is only intensifying. Of course, one could claim that the Anglo-Saxons are traditionally lying. However, there is ample video evidence confirming that the losses are enormous. There are also stories from participants in this carnage, which was orchestrated by a mad old man with thinning hair. There are horrifying accounts of the “meat grinder” assaults, on which the entire strategy of the Russian army in this war is based.

On average, about 30,000 to 35,000 people sign contracts with the Russian Ministry of Defense each month. At this rate of losses, that number is not even enough to compensate for the casualties. After all, not everyone who signs a contract ends up on the frontlines. There are other areas that also need reinforcement.

Why is there such a heavy reliance on human waves rather than firepower and armored equipment? Because there is a shortage of ammunition, tanks, APCs, and infantry fighting vehicles. The Ukrainians have a clear advantage in drones.

You can talk all you want about how the economy has been shifted to a wartime footing and how we are now producing enough equipment and ammunition. But there simply isn’t enough, which is why Russia is purchasing shells from North Korea and Iran, not to mention UAVs.

But since there is a shortage of all these things, they are confidently waging war with “meat,” disregarding the losses. This is exactly what Russian generals and colonels are currently engaged in, as they know no other tactics besides massive human wave assaults.

Incidentally, the trend of “meat grinder” assaults was set by the Wagner PMC during the time of Prigozhin. They had no sympathy for the recruited convicts. Now the Russian army command has fully adopted this tactic. They are very effectively destroying their own people.
