By his decision, Putin has completely devalued his own fake narrative about the evil NATO, which supposedly dreams of attacking Russia.
The advance of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kursk region is forcing the Russian Ministry of Defense to transfer troops to the region from Kaliningrad. This decision was made personally by Vladimir Putin. Moreover, some military personnel were against this decision.
The transfer of troops was announced by the Lithuanian Defense Minister Laurynas Kasčiūnas in Kyiv.
“We now see how they (the Russians) are relocating their troops to Kursk. I tell the Lithuanian people: look at how the Ukrainians are fighting for you, because due to their struggle, Russia needs to withdraw troops from Kaliningrad. We even call this the ‘demilitarization’ of Kaliningrad, which is happening thanks to the bravery of your military, thanks to your decisions.”
All propaganda resources financed by the federal budget have been saying for many years that NATO is about to attack us. They drew arrows showing how NATO troops would attack the enclave cut off from the rest of Russia. Then they said that troops were being deployed to the Kaliningrad region to supposedly protect the region from aggression.
And now, by the order of the main geostrategist, the troops are being withdrawn from the most vulnerable region of Russia – the Kaliningrad region. It turns out that we are no longer afraid that NATO will attack. The border will now be guarded only by border guards with dogs. And it’s not certain that the border guards and their dogs won’t be transferred to the Kursk region as well.
Putin talked about the demilitarization of Ukraine, and now he is leaving a vast region unprotected. So maybe NATO never intended to attack Russia? And all these stories about NATO’s aggressiveness are a typical propaganda trick and a Putin fake. And this propaganda postulate was destroyed by Putin himself with one order.
Right now, it would be enough for two or three NATO brigades to take control of the entire Kaliningrad region in one day. But Putin knows this won’t happen because NATO never intended to attack Russia.
