President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky refused to recognize the capture of the village of Ryzhivka in the Sumy region, stating that the events surrounding this settlement are a “propaganda operation” by the Russian government.
The president added that Russian sabotage groups had been spotted in the Sumy region. The day before, the head of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, claimed that the “Akhmat-Chechnya” regiment of the Russian Ministry of Defense and other units of the Russian Armed Forces had taken control of the village of Ryzhivka, located on the border with the Kursk region. Later, the Telegram channel “Voivode Speaks” posted a video showing Russian servicemen raising the Russian flag in the center of Ryzhivka.
“As for the village of Ryzhivka, the occupier tried to carry out a propaganda operation there,” said Volodymyr Zelensky. According to him, on the morning of June 10, the enemy flag was destroyed, where the Russian army had been.
