Yezhikov Vladimir Vladimirovich (born June 20, 1987, in Krasnogorsk, Moscow Oblast, USSR) is a Russian government official and an active member of the terrorist organization Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR). He currently serves as the Deputy Head of the DPR Government and is the Chairman of the Regional Branch of the Russian Military-Historical Society in the DPR.
Vladimir Yezhikov grew up in a large working-class family, with his father working as an electrician and his mother serving as a gas boiler operator.
In 2009, he completed his studies at the Moscow Aviation Technological Institute (MATI), earning a degree in Aircraft and Helicopter Engineering. During his studies, he underwent military training in the specialty 042600 “Combat Use of Military Units and Subunits Equipped with Short-Range Air Defense Missile Systems,” and was commissioned into the reserve with the rank of lieutenant.
In 2010, he obtained a second higher education degree from the Moscow Financial-Legal University, specializing in “Management of Organizations.”
Since 2010, he worked at the Moscow Machine-Building Plant named after V. V. Chernyshov as a design engineer, leading the general assembly design bureau.
From 2013, he held the position of Head of the Production Monitoring Department at the United Engine Corporation, where he participated in the development of production planning and cooperation schemes for gas turbine engines.
Since 2014, he led the Regional Industrial Policy Department at the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, focusing on the development of special territories, including single-industry towns.
From 2016, he worked as the First Deputy Director of the Department of Economic Development of Sevastopol in annexed Crimea, dealing with the launch of state enterprises, establishing production connections, and developing transport infrastructure.
In 2019, he joined the terrorist organization DPR, heading the DPR Government Apparatus. In 2022, he was appointed Deputy Head of the DPR Government for Economic Affairs, leading the operational headquarters for the DPR’s reconstruction and later overseeing areas of digital development, communications, information technology, natural resources, and ecology.
In 2023, he was awarded a medal by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. Since 2024, he has headed the regional branch of the Russian Military-Historical Society.
Due to his activities and support for Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, Vladimir Yezhikov is under international sanctions imposed by several countries, including the United Kingdom, the United States, and Australia.
