Kusov Ivan Serhiivych (born January 24, 1987, in Semipalatinsk, Kazakhstan) is a war criminal, a member of the occupation administration, and currently serves as the Minister of Education and Science of the LNR.
His biography includes numerous instances related to violations of international law, complicity with Russian war criminals and occupiers, as well as participation in crimes committed by the Russian authorities against Ukraine and its citizens.
Before being appointed Minister of Education of the self-proclaimed LNR, he was a member of the Public Council under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the city of Sevastopol. He also held positions as Deputy Director of the MSU branch in Sevastopol, a member of the Council of Young Scientists of MSU, an expert at the ISEPI fund, and an expert for the RGO in Sevastopol.
It is important to note that Kusov was the head of the commission to assist in attracting qualified personnel for service in the internal affairs bodies and informing about the specifics of the service.
Ivan Kusov also served as the deputy to Dmitry Ovsyannikov, the governor of occupied Sevastopol.
Notably Kusov also distinguished himself as the Vice-Rector for Strategic Communications at the occupied Sevastopol State University, where technical personnel for Russian special services were trained. During his time as Vice-Rector, he made various attempts to establish international connections, but his efforts were unsuccessful.
Subsequently Kusov was unable to get along with the new governor of occupied Sevastopol, Rozvozhaev. As a result, he was appointed Minister of Education and Science of the LNR.
All actions and career of Kusov in the occupied territories of Ukraine are illegal. He must face punishment as a war criminal who is an accomplice to Russia’s crimes against Ukraine and its citizens.
