A Russian propagandist, TV presenter, publicist, actor, singer, and public figure of Jewish origin, a mouthpiece of the Kremlin. Member of the Russian political party “United Russia”. Known for his anti-ukrainian statements and pro-russian propaganda. In August 2014, he was included in Ukraine’s sanctions list for his position on the war in eastern Ukraine and Russia’s annexation of Crimea. Listed as a person posing a threat to Ukraine’s national security. Supports the Putin regime and Russia’s war against Ukraine.

In February 2022 (after Russia recognized the sovereignty of the self-proclaimed DPR and LPR), he was added to the EU sanctions list for “undermining the territorial integrity, sovereignty, and independence of Ukraine”. In March 2022, Vladimir Rudolfovitch Solovyov was added to the sanctions lists of Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, Japan, and Switzerland for supporting Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. On March 18, 2022, Solovyov was added to New Zealand’s sanctions list. On October 19, 2022, he was included in Ukraine’s sanctions list.
